A cseh, a lengyel, a magyar és a szlovák építész kamarák vezetői lengyelországi találkozójukon állapodtak meg arról, hogy a V4-ek nemzetközi összefogásának keretében az építészet területén is fokozott együttműködésre törekednek. Az együttműködés középpontjában a folyamatos információcsere és az épületinformációs modellezés (BIM) áll.

Sustainable design improving communities: top prizes for public space, social integration and resilient infrastructure
The winners of the 4th Global Holcim Awards for Sustainable Construction have been decided – the trophies and USD 350,000 prize money go to projects in Colombia, Sri Lanka and the USA. All three prizes recognize architectural interventions that deliver tangible benefits to local communities: Turning a decommissioned water reservoir into a park in Medellín, rebuilding social fabric through a community library in Ambepussa following Sri Lanka’s civil war, and creating public zones and flood-protection for the island of Manhattan.

The European Commission and the Fundació Mies van der Rohe have announced today at the press conference that has taken place at Europe House London, the five finalists who will compete for the 2015 European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award. The speakers in the press conference have been Giovanna Carnevali, Director of the FundacióMies van der Rohe; Alessandro Senesi, Deputy Head of Creative Europe at the European Commission; and Tony Chapman, member of the 2015 Jury.
